Bring your own food and drink

The Goondooloo is in survey for 48 passengers.

You are welcome to bring your own catering, and because Goondooloo Charters is not a licensed venue – this includes alcoholic beverages.

The money you save by providing your own drinks, can offset most, and sometimes all, of the charter costs!

The vessel is fully air-conditioned inside and boasts two large upper decks (partially undercover) with bench seating.  Both decks are well lit for evening charters.

How it works...

  • guests will be met at the Plume Street entrance of the Townsville Yacht Club Marina and escorted to the vessel 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the charter.  The Charterer may access the vessel half an hour prior, to decorate and load food, drinks and supplies on board.  This is a complimentary service and does not form part of the allocated charter time.
  • for safety reasons glass is not allowed on the vessel.  You should purchase beverages with plastic, aluminium tins (for beer) or cardboard packaging and make use of disposable plastic cutlery and plates.
  • wine/champagne bottles can be brought on board however, we require that the bottles are stored in the galley where you can fill plastic cups to bring up with you onto the upper decks.
  • you will need to provide all consumables (salt, pepper, sauces etc), crockery and cutlery.

  • 4 x bar fridges (keep cold food platters small in size)
  • full sized oven for warming hot food
  • chest freezer for ice storage (ice can be purchased at the Townsville Yacht Club)
  • gas BBQ for use by prior arrangement (please note that the BBQ can only be used when the vessel is stationary)
  • flat screen TV & DVD player
  • microwave
  • 2 x standard toilets (unisex)
  • designated smoking area
  • stereo with IPod connectivity
  • large esky on the top deck for easy access to drinks

Goondooloo Charters promotes a safe alcohol policy and encourages all passengers to drink responsibly
